We have an EASA Approved Training Organization (ATO) and operate a Flight Training Center in London. This summer, we will open a new center in Athens, Greece. 
At Avion, we set up regional Flight Training Centers at our customer’s locations, designed to our customer’s specific needs and requirements. This substantially lowers flight crew training costs by avoiding hotel costs and daily allowances. It also reduces travel risks and improves the airline’s crew productivity. More importantly, we deliver an ultimate training experience that excites even the most seasoned pilots in the world.

About the job

Avion is looking for a Service Manager who oversees all customer service contacts and resolves issues and concerns through standardized processes and systems. In addition, they coordinate and oversee simulator repairs and supervise (Field) Service Engineers. The Service Manager reports to the Director Technical Operations. 

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

Service Management
Responsible for Avion’s (after-sales) Service Management processes (from initial complaint to ticket closed) in line with internal standards and contracted parameters. Responsible for guiding and supervising complaint resolution and verifying customer satisfaction. Dispatches issues to the right department and works closely with the Lead Engineer and Lead System Architect to improve system uptime and prevent recurring (technical) issues.

Spare Part Management
Responsible for procurement, distribution and stock-management of spare parts to make sure the requirements as outlined in the Customer Service Agreements are met. 

Bid Management
Works closely with the sales department on client bids to ensure that Service Agreements are aligned with internal parameters and serviceable standards. 

Process Optimization
Defines and executes plans for the improvement of Avion’s Service Management. Optimizing processes, design and/or implementing service management (IT) systems and solutions. 

Leadership Leads the Service Management department, including training, coordination and support of individual staff members. Sets (yearly) individual goals for team members, coaches and guides staff to reach the intended results.

This job position is based at our office in Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands. Occasionally visiting customers abroad is part of the job.
